You’re useless for this one reason

The three most valuable lessons you will learn in 2023

A lot of you will stay exactly where you are in life. And you can blame whoever you want, your parents, the government, the economy, the right, the left, whoever. But the only person at fault is yourself.

The reality is that no matter what problems you think you have, someone else will always have it worse. There is no power in complaining about it. You have two options. You can sit, and get into a pissing competition to see who has it worse. Or, you can take action and do whatever you possibly can to change your situation. But unfortunately for most of you, the truth is that you lack the initiative to change your situation. So let me ask you, which of the two options are you choosing?

This quote was written by some guy I’ve never heard of but it’s pretty good. "Success isn’t a result of spontaneous combustion. You must set yourself on fire." These words aren't just a motivational poster material; they're a provocative statement designed to make you question your approach to achieving success.

Maybe you're wondering, how does this relate to lacking initiative? Well, it's simple. If you're sitting around waiting for success to spontaneously occur, you're in for a long wait. Success, like fire, requires a spark. That spark is your initiative. It's you making the first move, taking the first step, or lighting the match.

Here are your three lessons:

  • Find Your Spark 🔥: Look within yourself and identify what drives you, what you're passionate about. That passion is your spark. It's the thing that will motivate you to take action, even when the odds are against you. Your spark is uniquely yours, and it's the key to setting yourself on fire with the will to succeed.

  • Take the Initiative 🏃‍♂️: Success is proactive, not reactive. It's about making things happen, not waiting for them to happen. If you see an opportunity, seize it. If you don't see one, create it. Don't be afraid to take risks or make mistakes. Remember, every step you take, even the missteps, bring you closer to your goals.

  • Keep the Fire Burning 🕯️: Once you've lit the fire of success, it's crucial to keep it burning. This means continually feeding it with new goals, challenges, and experiences. It also means learning how to keep your flame alive even when things get tough. Resilience and perseverance are the fuel that will keep your fire burning bright.

Success isn't something that happens to you; it's something you make happen. It requires energy, effort, and most importantly, the courage to ignite that first spark.

So, the next time you find yourself hesitating or waiting for something to happen, know that success isn't a fortunate accident but a fire you must be willing to start. Light your match, take that initiative, and set yourself ablaze with the passion and drive necessary to reach your goals. The smoke signals of your success will be seen far and wide.

It’s going to be a kick-ass week. Regards, and keep moving forward.
