Cut down a tree.

Are you playing hide and seek with luck and opportunity? Do you wait patiently, hoping it will eventually show up? Are you telling yourself every day, “if it’s meant to be, it will be,”?

Are you playing hide and seek with luck and opportunity? Do you wait patiently, hoping it will eventually show up? Are you telling yourself every day, “if it’s meant to be, it will be,”? If that’s you, you’re f**king up.

You cannot wait for the universe to hand you good things. Waiting idly for success to fall into your lap is a recipe for stagnation, regret, and failure. Doors don’t open on their own (excluding automated sliding ones, imagine a door handle). Likewise, the hallway won’t appear out of thin air. You need to walk around to find the hallway, then use your hands to reach and open each door. If you can’t find the doors, build them.

Here are your three focusses for the day,

  1. Leverage the Power of Learning 🎓 The most effective doors are built on a foundation of knowledge (anyone remember that dude in the garage with a lambo and books from YouTube?) Expand your skillset, delve into new subjects, and continuously seek out learning opportunities. Remember this is not limited to school. Elevate your senses so that you will increase your chances of spotting potential opportunities.

  2. Nurture Your Network 🛜 Your network is a potential goldmine of opportunities. Each person you meet could either be a door waiting to be opened, or a guide willing to take you there. Or he or she can be a complete waste of time. “The average of the five people you spend time with…”rule applies here. Also, don’t try to be a lone wolf, humans don’t work that way.

  3. Embrace Risk and Uncertainty ⚠️ Building a door is not an easy task. Truthfully, I don’t even know the physical implications of building a literal door other than tree>wood+metal circle=door. Basically, building a door isn’t easy. It will involve stepping out of your comfort zone. It could mean starting your own business, shifting careers, investing in a new venture, etc. There risks are intimidating, but remember that every successful person has faced and overcome similar fears.

Build your own f**king doors. Don’t just sit around waiting for the knock of opportunity. Pickup your tools, set your determination in stone, and start cutting down your tree. Each step you take in creating opportunities for yourself brings you one step closer to your version of success,

Keep moving forward,
